ELECTRICAL INSPECTION & TESTING
Electrical inspections and testing are the equivalent of an MOT for your electrical installation. How frequently your electrical equipment should be inspected and tested will depend upon the type of premises you own. Generally, electrical inspections and testing services should be carried out every 5 or 10 years or whenever their is a change of ownership.
As the user’s requirements change quite often so does the electrical installation. In the past, you may have used someone who believed they were competent at DIY or maybe an electrician who you thought could be relied upon. The main questions are though, did they test their work and do you have a copy of the certificate at the fuse board? If not, your electrical installation will need to be properly tested and inspected by a qualified and NICEIC accredited electrician.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report is the only way to identify if your electrical installation is safe and has been installed to the current regulations. During any electrical testing or inspection service, we provide this report as standard, so you can rely on the experts at Electrifire to provide you with a safe and fully functional appliance that has been fully checked, tested and inspected.
