Safeguarding and DBS
Any contractor working on a school site during term time must meet the school's safeguarding requirements. Electrifire's engineers hold enhanced DBS checks, and we provide confirmation of DBS status in advance of any site visit so that your safeguarding lead can verify clearance before our engineers arrive. During term-time visits, our engineers follow your signing-in procedures, wear visible identification, and work within the areas agreed with your site manager.
Scheduling Around the Academic Calendar
Education buildings have a natural rhythm that dictates when work can take place with minimal disruption. Routine maintenance visits such as fire alarm testing and extinguisher servicing are scheduled during term time at times that avoid assemblies, examinations and other critical periods.
